Today is world water day which aims to raise awareness and actively engage individuals in addressing water management and water quality issues around the world. Access to clean water is something that we often take for granted but 884 million people around the world do not have access to safe water and 3.575 million people die each year from water-related diseases. 100% of the profit from the sale of One Water funds the installation of Palypumps which enable communities to access a sustainable source of clean water. To date One Water has funded the installation of 531 PlayPumps improving the lives of 1,062,000 people. For One Water day this year we are trying to get 250,000 people to become fans of our facebook page, if we reach this number a playpump will be installed in honour of the facebook group.
